Right of Withdrawal

(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot be attributed primarily to their commercial or self-employed professional activity.)

Right of Withdrawal

The consumer has the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform us of their decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement, for example, a letter sent by post or an email. The consumer may use the model withdrawal form provided below, although this is not mandatory.

Consequences of Withdrawal

In the event of withdrawal, we will refund the amount paid for the returned product after receiving the goods and no later than fourteen days from the date on which the goods are received.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the consumer for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until the consumer has provided evidence that the goods have been returned.

The consumer must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which they inform us of their decision to withdraw from this contract.

The deadline is met if the consumer sends the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

The consumer may choose either to bear the direct cost of returning the goods or to request a return label from HORECAZON. In the latter case, HORECAZON will cover the transport costs but will charge a flat fee of €10 per returned parcel. Notwithstanding the above, HORECAZON will bear all return costs in full if the order was prepared incorrectly.

The consumer is only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts concerning:

The supply of goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

The supply of sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene.

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal as described in this withdrawal policy. However, businesses are not granted any voluntary right of withdrawal.
